A local business group formed, Carradale Harbour Enterprises Ltd, in order to carry out local regeneration work to improve the harbour facilities and environment, with the aim of increasing tourist and yachtsmen footfall in the village.  Smith Scott Mullan have produced a masterplan for the area and the initial phase includes the construction of a new slipway for landing small craft.

Following site survey work WRD have designed a 25m long x 4m wide concrete slipway anchored into the bedrock.  Acting as Contract Administrator we have carried out a competitive tender exercise and appointed a local contractor, MK Macleod, with work due to start in summer 2014.

Approvals were obtained from SEP, Marine Scotland, and Carradale Harbour Board.
