Angus J. Roxburgh BSc(Hons), CEng, MIStructE, AaPS

Managing Director (Edinburgh)

I lead our team in Edinburgh and have been with the Company since 1994.  Having graduated from Heriot Watt University in 1986, I previously worked with Consulting Engineers in Glasgow and Edinburgh leading to Chartered status in 1994, which coincided with me joining the Will Rudd Davidson team.

Following four years as a Senior Engineer at Will Rudd Davidson I became an Associate in 1998 and a Director in 2000.  I spent ten years as a Director with an increasing amount of responsibility, culminating in appointment as Managing Director of the Edinburgh Office in May 2010.

In addition to being a Chartered Engineer and a Certifier of Building Structures, I am also an associate CDM Coordinator with the Association for Project Safety (APS).

With just under thirty years of experience under my belt I am well placed to lead and guide my team and have particular expertise in the sympathetic refurbishment of listed and historic buildings.

I believe in a quality of service and have a ‘hands on’ approach, which is appreciated by both Clients and Team Will Rudd Davidson.  In conjunction with Brian Walker, who carries out a similar role in Glasgow, I am keen to promote the Company’s policy of continuous improvement, and am committed to ensuring that the practice provides the commitment and level of service that our clients have come to expect.

Away from the office I enjoy golf and having (briefly) been a single figure handicap golfer, am always keen for opportunities to return to this, when time allows.
