I graduated from Herriot Watt university in 2009, joining the Will Rudd Davidson team in Autumn 2012.
Whilst working here I have been involved in a vast array of projects including steel multi-storey new builds, roads construction consent applications, domestic timber frames and unique temporary art installations. I find it difficult to say what type of project is my favourite to work on, but I love a refurbishment of a historic building where unusual construction techniques have been used. It’s always great to learn about history while doing your day job.
No matter what type of project I am involved with I always relish collaboratively working with the full design team. I enjoy a good natter and I’m forever keen to discuss and explore alternative structural solutions to make sure every project is a success.
In my spare time I am an enthusiastic cook and delight in rustling up a spicy dinner or a lazy indulgent brunch at the weekend. I also dabble in DIY with varying degrees of success, however, this hobby has grown really out of necessity rather than passion. Other hobbies include playing squash against beginners and power lifting.
