About: Gus, who is Edinburgh based, graduated from Heriot Watt University in 1986 and has worked extensively in Consulting Engineering practices in both Glasgow and Edinburgh. He was elected to Chartered Status in 1994, and joined the Practice in the same year.
He was initially employed as a Senior Engineer working successfully on a variety of small to high profile projects.His abilities were rewarded with appointment to Associate level in 1997, and he was pleased to accept Directorship with Will Rudd Davidson in September 2000. This role incorporates that of Quality and CDM Manager.
Gus enjoys the challenge of the modern Architectural climate and is keen to provide cost effective solutions for both new build and refurbishment projects. With regard to the latter, working on such as the Usher Hall Phase II Refurbishment, The Dean Gallery in Edinburgh, The High Court of Justiciary in Glasgow and the Scottish National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh, he has built-up a detailed knowledge of sympathetic refurbishment of listed and historic buildings.
His duties as Director were extended in 2004 and include full production responsibility for his project portfolio and the further promotion of the practice within the Construction Industry and beyond.
Gus is also a registered SER Certifier. |
