I graduated from Heriot Watt University in 2007 with BEng(Hons) degree and joined Will Rudd Davidson in early 2008. I am proud to have been with the company for over 10 years, working my way from Graduate Engineer to my current role as Senior Engineer.
My primary role within the company is to assist in the day-to-day management of engineering projects, which includes leading and coordinating a team of Graduate/Assistant Engineers and Engineering Technicians.
I have been involved as lead Structural/Civil Engineer on a variety of public and private sector projects including new build educational buildings, community healthcare facilities and large residential developments, from early concept design stage to completion. I have also been involved in a number of hotel and student resident refurbishment projects and public art installations.
I believe that good communication plays a vital part in project delivery and always strive to work closely with other design team members and clients to provide appropriate and cost effective design solutions.
Out with the office, I am a big football fan and spend time at the weekend playing for my local team as well as going to watch games (those who know me will undoubtedly know which team!) when I can. I also enjoy to travel with a few recent highlights being trips to Cuba, Malaysia and a tour of the Amalfi Coast and Tuscany in Italy.
