The City Chambers is the premier space within the city chambers playing host to many formal civic events in Edinburgh.

Will Rudd Davidson worked along with Smith Scott Mullan to refurbish the space to bring it up to current technological requirements, whilst preserving, and uncovering, some previously hidden historical details. The new audio visual and structural interventions had to be hidden within the existing structure so as not to distract from the fabric of the building. It is now a modern function area with all the modern conveniences expected whilst maintaining the beautiful historic interior.
