What we are looking for:
Min 2 years industry experience in appropriate Structural Engineering design
- Working towards chartership
- Experience in the use of design software
- Comfortable with designing in steel, concrete, timber and masonry
- Comfortable with assessing existing buildings
- Experience in preparing calculation packages
- Experience in completing SER packages for building warrant
- Friendly approach, keen to learn and also mentor others
- Proactive and keen to progress their career
Role & Responsibilities:
The day-to-day responsibility/running of projects.
- Working with / supporting Project Engineers, Assistant/Graduate Engineers, Technicians and Technical staff.
- Developing Structural Engineering design solutions
- Coordination and integration with wider design team
- Control, issue and updating of all drawings and documentation in accordance with the Quality Management System.
- Monitoring the activities of Technicians and Drafting staff.
- Attendance at Client, Design Team and Site meetings.
